Chapter 95
The inkstone flew through the air, but Tony didn’t even flinch. With a sharp movement, he dodged it effortlessly, his icy gaze fixed on his grandfather. The room was thick with tension as Sebastian stood there, seething with rage. His hands trembled with fury, but he still managed to maintain some semblance of composure.
“You’re unbelievable, Tony,” Sebastian spat, his voice low and filled with disdain. “What has gotten into you? Just because you’ve achieved a little success doesn’t mean you can act like this!”
Tony’s lips curled into a cold, emotionless smile. “I need the money, and I need it now. There’s no time for your anger games, Old Man.” His voice was as sharp as ever, betraying no emotion other than the hard edge of determination.
Sebastian’s chest rose and fell with heavy breaths as he clenched his fists, fighting to contain his wrath. “You really think you can manipulate me like this? All you care about is what you want, regardless of the consequences.”
Tony didn’t move, his stance unyielding. “You wanted me to settle down, didn’t you? So why don’t you help me do that? The money is necessary if I am to make it work. You can help, or you can continue to throw tantrums. It’s up to you.”
Sebastian’s eyes narrowed dangerously as he studied Tony, weighing the situation. The young man before him had grown bolder, more demanding, and far more ruthless over the years. He had always been proud, but this… this was a level of arrogance Sebastian hadn’t expected.
“You think this is about your marriage?” Sebastian’s voice dropped, almost a whisper, but every word was dripping with contempt. “You’re nothing but a spoiled child thinking that throwing money at problems will solve them. You’re not ready for this, Tony. You never will be.”
For a moment, the silence hung between them, thick and suffocating. Tony stared his grandfather down, unyielding. “I’m ready. I’ve always been ready. I won’t back down on this.” He stepped closer, closing the distance between them, not showing an ounce of hesitation.
